About Scalytics

Sovereign infrastructure for AI that acts.

Scalytics builds the operating system for autonomous AI in places where control cannot be handed to someone else. Your data stays in place, your reasoning stays inside your network, and every decision stays on the record.

The Scalytics Team

Sovereign infrastructure for AI that acts.

Scalytics builds the operating system for autonomous AI in places where control cannot be handed to someone else.
Why we exist

Centralization breaks under real conditions.

Our founders kept seeing the same pattern across defense, energy, finance, and other regulated operations. The data is distributed, the rules are strict, and the systems are mission-critical, yet the prevailing answer is still to centralize everything in someone else's cloud.

Centralization raises cost, latency, and compliance risk. It concentrates control in a single vendor under a foreign jurisdiction, and it fails under real production load. We built Scalytics on the opposite principle.

Data stays in place. Compute comes to it. Control stays with you.

Why open

Sovereignty you can verify, not just trust.

Most platforms ask you to trust a closed system, often under a foreign jurisdiction. We take the opposite position. The Scalytics core is Apache 2.0. You can read every line, run it on your own infrastructure, and keep it running, with no vendor able to revoke access or change the terms later.

As Europe and allied nations demand true digital sovereignty, the era of black-box intelligence is ending. We build for defense ministries, intelligence agencies, law enforcement, and reactive warfare operators. In environments where your data is a matter of national security, verifiable beats proprietary. That is the point, not a feature.

Where we come from

Built by the people who built the foundations.

Scalytics was founded by two PhDs and two former Cloudera engineers. Our team originally created Apache Wayang, now an Apache Top-Level Project, which runs workloads across engines such as Spark and Flink where the data already resides.

That heritage is the reason the platform treats federation, governance, and open standards as defaults rather than as features bolted on later.

"Operating and building AI is tough. A fragmented data landscape, data silos, and the decades-old idea that centralizing data makes things easier. It is just wrong. We saw it in the early days of big data, and we are seeing it again. That is what we change."
